Active Engagement Coaching™ or AEC™ is holistic coaching technique exclusive to Alimental Life. With AEC™ we look to create balance between our mental, physical, environmental, emotional and financial wellness.
AEC™ combines various coaching techniques to help clients gain clarity, understand where they are blocked, then physically help them get there.

There's a lot of misconceptions about Life Coaching, Counciling and Cognative Behavioral Therapy.
Coaching is a great tool to support and/or bridge the gap between therapy and life.
Many of the young adults we work with have tried therapy or other traditional paths and it just hasn't worked or they got discouraged. Sometimes being in a non-clinical environment without judgement allows for more candid conversations and opportunites to build trust that might not always be formed in a traditional mental health setting.
Life coaching is also a great resource to support therapy and counciling efforts.
A coach can rehiterate the theraputic goals set by the health care provider and provide an accountability partner to help stay on task.
I also find that things will be shared in coaching sessions that the young adult doens't think is a big deal and wouldn't have shared with their therapist, but probably should! In these situations we help guide our clients to share with their provider these details that seem insignifigant but could impact their overall support.
Many clients use coaching as a way to work out what they learn in therapy - it can be a part of your toolbox in growth and healing.
If you decide to start with coaching and it's just not working out, or additional support is needed, we have a large referral network of professionals ready for you.
You don't until we connect! Sign up for a FREE, Discovery phone call or virtual session HERE.
This is a no-pressure, informal, one on one chat, to see if Alimental Life is a good fit for you. If we don't feel confident that we can provide results, or what you're needing is outside of our scope, we will connect you with someone who can help you. We have a large global network, and can connect you with a person/organization that fits your personal needs.
The initial consultation is free, so schedule an appointment here and let's get started!
The first session is usually a casual get to know you session.
Our coach will meet you where you feel comfortable. We could meet you at a park, Dutch Bros, or even at your house. Depending on where you feel most safe and at ease.
Our first few sessions we will talk about life, history, and share stories. We will also talk about expectations you hope to get from coaching and where you'll be needing the most support.
If a parent/guardian is involved, we do an inital parent support call before our first meeting to understand your needs, family values and aras of concern. We will also go over a parent/child confidentailty agreement and rules around communciation and coaching to ensure trust and safety measures are in place.
One of the ways we've found to be most effective in our coaching sessions, is through Active Engagement Coaching (AEC).
We meet you where you feel most comfortable and safe. We've found that traditional clinical style office spaces create anxiety and feel judgy. We will usually meet at a coffee shop, library, online, at a park, hiking trail or even at your home to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable.
We are based in West Phoenix, but service the greater Phoenix area from Tonopah to Cave Creek and even Maricopa.
After our first few sessions, meeting locations may change based on your individual needs. If you're looking to build a specific skill set, say body image confidence we may go shopping. If you're looking to network for a career we may meet at a networking event. Or we can keep it chill and just chat at coffee week after week!
What's most importaint is that where ever we meet, it's a place where you feel comfortable and can be most impactful for your goals.
